EFT Tapping
TAPPING IS A MIND BODY METHOD THAT MAY REDUCE STRESS, ANXIETY, IMPOVE PERFORMANCE AND RESOLVE FEARS.
Emotional Freedom Techniques or Tapping as it otherwise known is a fast emerging modality with over 10yrs of thorough research to support it’s efficacy in working with both mental and physical issues. Tapping can support a range of experiences such as anxiety, PTSD, relational issues and food cravings, as the processes of stimulating the acupressure points moves the stuck energy related to the cognitive focus and allows for a shift in perception of events.
Recent years have seen a greater acceptance of mind–body approaches in the
psychology field. Research has shown this is no longer a concept or belief, but information that can be used to enhance overall the experience and outcome for the client. (EFT) - Tapping is supplementing established and evidence-based psychological techniques (such as behavioural, exposure and cognitive processing) with interventions used in the process — such as acupressure, diaphragmatic breathing and eye movements to process the person’s experience. Tapping research has documented shifts in neurotransmitter activation, hormones levels, gene expression and brain waves as well as people overcoming previous issues.
Tapping is a safe way to process experiences in that it will only goes as fast as the client is ready.
